Sitting waiting for Don Brown to speak this morning here in Detroit. The morning sessions are a solid line-up IMO.

Had a great time in Detroit. Enjoyed having a chance to talk with bluedarters aka Rick Darlington after his presentations. Great stuff and good reminder that it is all about WHO and building relationships with your guys. Heading to Grand Rapids this weekend. Probably spying on a Full House T coach on Friday and then sitting in on some Trips Defense and/or Navy sessions on Saturday. Hit me up if any of you are going.

Was at pittsburgh this past weekend, very disappointed with speakers and topics. Thought Chalk Wars idea was dumb, good idea on paper but not in practice. Just get tired of hearing College and Pro guys talk about what they do etc.... but never really relate to the numerous high school coaches in the room

We're headed to STL this weekend and Chicago next weekend. If you see any guys wearing gear with a mascot that sounds like a euphemism for "self-love" that's us and say hi.

My biggest problem with this year's Glazier, not sure if they couldn't get enough speakers but they Chalk Wars took up all of Saturday. The planning was terrible. The same weekend the Nike Clinic was going on about 5 miles away if that, plus there were numerous other Glazier Clinics.

The crowd seemed to be very small at Costa Mesa. Went into one of the chalk wars and it was dismal. I don't really want to see 2 coaches play who has the pen last. One of the least impressive clinics I have been to in a while. Apopka coach was great as was Holiday from Utah. Nebraska DL coach wasn't too bad. Holy Cross OC had some decent stuff.

Cleveland today - been to Indy and Cincy as well this year. I've been going to Glazier clinics for 18 years now, and this year has been a bit of a let down. Hopefully, this weekend will be better.

Heading up to Cleveland today.
Pittsburgh was a pretty big disappointment last weekend. Although, I really liked the TE coach from Penn State, was really good as a speaker and some decent info. Also liked Mcmanus from SC - he was pretty good. Also was pretty disappointed that Nike was the same day.

I personally didn't like the STL clinic. Second year in a row I wasn't thrilled. Agree about the chalk wars thing, it seemed like that's all there was Saturday Afternoon. During my survey that Glazier sent out, I said as much. Also, I really liked the Thursday Night, Friday All Day, Saturday Morning format better. Saturday afternoon was low in attendance, and Sunday morning when I peaked in a room, it was more of a ghost town then usual. Spoke to someone from the clinic in the elevator, they said numbers were down from what they expected.

I agree, it seems like the overall quality was down, however, Chris Klenakis from Louisville and Steve Loney from the Cowboys were the highlights for me. Loney is one of those guys who has been around so long and in so many places that you could just listen to him talk for hours. Overheads and all!

I do agree quality was down, but lets be honest, with the social media, and all the twitter chats, Glazier offering the multiple eclinics and webinars what is the need to attend the clinics. To me the biggest issues they bring guys in who do not relate to their largest buyers of their product and that is high school coaches. Heard a speaker talking about pass sets who even made the comment do not if you could do this with high schoolers. Thanks for nothing. Get back to bringing relevant content to the high school caoches

I enjoyed St. Louis but only because I spent Saturday afternoon listening about Golla's 3-3 and Saturday night watching the games at Ballpark Village with my staff. Got some interesting information, but more importantly to me, got to spend time building relationships with my guys -who all seemed to pick up some great information in the sessions they went to.
I'm looking forward to Chicago this weekend. The first one was better than StL and I'm really looking forward to sitting in on Brian Ferentz and David Inserra.

Went to chicago this past weekend.Pretty good clinic minus the rooms were too small at a new hotel. The guy from Main South was a complete Jack A$$ to the tech guy as he had video embedded in a powerpoint that would not work he wanted the guy to fix it and he said that if it was in the powerpoint he couldn't as company policy is they can't touch the computers of the speakers just the glazier company as well as supply adapters and things like that. The guy from man south gave the tech guy the finger while he was leaving. Paul Alexander was awesome but same thing the sound from his powerpoint presentation wouldn't work. They get he same tech guy he looks at it and Alexander tells him to HURRY THE F*CK UP. He ended up figuring it out but what a jerk. He should have made sure it worked between sessions and not after the session started.
