Bought my first pair of Boombahs 10 years ago and have bought two more since. Honestly, I've never bought a new pair because I needed them and I still keep that first pair at school in case I forget the others. They're not in perfect condition after 10 years but don't have any major tears. I've even used them for umpiring baseball games because they're great on the dirt and grass. I can't remember which styles I have bought, but all three have been great. Definitely get the turf shoes though as they are great for wet grass. I'm looking at the Riots this year as they are lighter than most of the others. Exactly what I was looking at. Thanks a ton. Do they sell em anywhere so I could figure out my size? Or they just online?

Alright Boombah people. They got a couple styles and colors (I buy all neutral everything - so much black/grey and could use some school themed shoes) and looks that got me intrigued much more than the Hoka One Ones do. Prices are hard to beat. Do they last long though? I've been a big name brand guy (especially Nike) because theyve always given me such great mileage. Im still a bargain hunter and all the shoes I have were either given by the program or bought at outlets. And I'm loving the Boombah prices. Do they last you awhile though? Boombahs last.

I asked our kids about some of these shoes at practice yesterday. They tried to give me up downs and sent me to offense. Seriously.

You don't need Jordans for that. Last year I wore some Nike Roshes and they weren't new but the kids thought they still looked good. It had rained all day and they were furious I had ruined them. I wear them every practice now. This thread is making me consider getting a couple cheap pair though to rotate.

I'm a younger dude but I don't know where that culture disconnect is that I have regarding shoes came from. Like I wear shoes cuz I need em ya know? Why would you wear shoes youre worried about getting ruined? And why would that style be athletic ya know? Like I aint gonna where dress shoes on the field but this new age of "fancy athletic" shoes i kinda just dont get. But I do have a pair of black Jordans that I wear with a button up when I go out sometimes. Im confused is what i'm trying to say.

I'm bemused by the fact that there's a two page thread on what shoes to wear for practice. I wear cross trainers, whatever brsnd gives me the best fit at the best price. Whether the kids like them has never entered into the picture.

I got a fair bit of grief for wearing antique Reeboks. I told them I played wearing white leather Pony high-tops.

Oh man, I got a new pair of Nike Experience RN 6 yesterday. They come in extra wide so couldn't pass em' up. Like little pillows on my feet.

I got a pair of boombahs and took them to a camp last week. Got some major blisters on my toes. Look good but not a great fit for my feet.

The most comfortable shoes I have ever had are the New Balance Turf 3000v3. Designed for baseball, but well made and durable. Have several color choices.

I wear Skechers. I'm a pretty large person (6"4 320 lbs) with size 15. They are usually a bit wider, which is perfect for my feet. I swear by them as of now, usually end up going to DXL to buy them for their sizes.
