Just wondering, how often does your staff meet as a whole? In the off-season and during the season?
School I'm at now we rarely meet. I like it because I can plan on being home at a certain time, and I very much appreciate that the Head Coach values my time. However, I think we could meet more just in terms of everyone having one consistent understanding of what we are doing, gameplan, etc.

The two meetings a month are usually split one offense and one defense. We don't have spring football in New Jersey, so our offseason "workouts" begin in July. During the season, we meet twice a week, Saturday morning for our post-mortem and to begin to think about our upcoming opponent, then again Monday night after we've had a chance to review film on our opponent and to put together the game plan.

We meet once a week in-season. In addition we have informal meetings after practice while waiting for all of the kids to leave. During the off-season we only meet a few times but we talk in the weight room and after weights.

In season on Sundays only. Off season about once a week for a month leading up to spring ball. Lots of informal meetings where me and HC or me and one of my defensive assistants are just hanging out sitting around talking ball.

At the last school I was at, we'd only meet as a whole staff once or twice in the off-season. 2-3 of us would meet all the time throughout the off-season though, but rarely as a whole staff.
During the season, we never met on the weekends as a whole staff. Again a few of us would meet to discuss one side of the ball.

We meet before spring ball, before summer ball and before the official start. Like previously mentioned we have a lot of informal meetings after practice real quick or just one side of the ball. In season we meet if any issues arise. Other than that most of our upcoming opponent discussion is done via conference call on Sunday night.

We don't meet formally during the offseason. A couple of us might talk here or there. During season we meet every sunday at 2. How long we are ther varies offense is usually done by 4:30-5 and defense by 5:30-6.

We met once a month, January through July. During the season we met on Saturdays and after each practice waiting for the players to leave.

We go away for a 3 day weekend of meetings in March and then once a week in season. Staff has all been together for a long time now (10 years) and we are pretty much all on the same page staff will meet individually with me periodically over specifics of what they Coach. Since each has a different role rarely is that time useful for anyone else although others are typically invited.

I just took over as OC and even though the scheme is similar, theres new verbage, formations, etc. I've meet with the OL and WR coaches to begin the transition. We met once a week since the clinic season ended (4-5 times). We have a weekend trip to one coaches cabin in April where we begin to plan things out as a staff. I'll meet with the HC and JV coaches to plan out more things here in the next few weeks. In Minnesota we can have 11 days of "practice" in June & July (not counting 7-7, lifting, and meetings). In pads for a few of them and end with a team camp. No contact with athletes from Aug 1 til official start of season. Staff will meet one more time in that window to finalize any things we need to fix.

During the Season, Sundays, and Saturday group texts.
Offseason, not really a lot of "sit down and take out a pen and pad," meetings. It's mostly picking each other's brains about crap we dug up on coach huey or whatever slappy site they use to pick up ideas.
