This year I am hosting our pre-season scrimmage. We have a beautiful facility. What I am racking my brain on is how to schedule the teams.
Here is what I have:
1 Full field (turf) - so I can have 4 teams going at one time... I have 7 teams (including ours) committed to participating
We have adequate space to have two teams warm up while 4 are on the field.
I want to give each team 4 scrimmages of 12 plays each.
I would like to start around 11AM and be done by 3PM
So.....I know I need to stagger arrival times, but somebody that is good with scheduling please help......

okay double check my math, nobody going more than 2 twice in a row. 4 hours divided by 7 scrimmages = 34 minutes for each scrimmage and movement.
Now this is TEAM vs TEAM, not broken down by O and D, so you get 17 minutes then flip the O/D. 12 plays in 17 minutes will not allow for much correction/talking 1 v 2 3 v 4 bye 5,6,7 5 v 6 7 v 1 bye 2,3,4 2 v 3 4 v 5 bye 6,7,1 6 v 7 1 v 3 bye 2,4,5 2 v 4 5 v 7 bye 1,3,6 1 v 6 3 v 5 bye 2,4,7 2 v 6 4 v 7 bye 1,3,5

How about doing it by vertical field position; 5 plays from coming out, 5 plays from middle of field, 5 plays from 4-down zone, 5 plays from +10, 5 plays from inside 10?
