Does any one have any information about position checklists that Saban uses to make sure each position is working on all of the things that they need to?

I would talk to your position coaches about expectations and work with them to create these checklists.

I agree, but I wanted to see what they look for as a guide. ABC drills... Agility / footwork drills Block destruction drills Contact tackling drills Have a menu of drills, by position group, for each category.

GENERAL: STANCE BALL EXCHANGE LOOK – POCKET STEP (RUNS) PROPER PATH (22-23; 24-25 CTR; 24-25 POW; 26-27; 28-29; 38-39; 51 DRAW ) LOOK BALL IN - CARRY OUT FAKE PASSING FOOT MECHANICS (3 STEP DROP; 5 STEP DROP; PAP) 2. WARM UP (“EVERYDAY” DRILLS) TRIANGLE DRILL SPRINT DRILL HASH MARK DRILL UP DRILL 3. PASS “PATTERNS” (& READS) 60-61 60 UP-61 UP 62-63 50-51 52-53 54-55 56-57 58-59 “TAGS” COUNTER-BOOT PASS STRETCH PASS 4. THROWING PASS “ROUTES”: a) X & Z (HITCH, UP, FLAT, CURL, OUT, POST, IN, POST-CORNER, LOOK, & TAGS) b. H & Y (HITCH, UP, FLAT, FLAT & UP, CURL, CORNER, OUT, TURN, POST, & TAGS) c) RB (CIRCLE, SWING, FLAT, POST, TAGS).

We made our own. What do they need to do in your offense/defense? Make a list of those things and then you have a checklist.
