What avenues have you found to be the best source of money in your program? This can be fundraisers of various types, as well as events that you host. I know football is an arms race, so how do you support yourself?

Adrenaline fundraising. We generally bring in around $50K in a two week window. I hate fundraisers, but this one's pretty painless.

They do most of the grunt work. They will go around to local business and convince them to be a part of the fundraiser by giving discounts, in the form of coupons, to supporters of the program. We will generally have 15 or so businesses that will each agree to 1-4 different discounts that will be combined on to a coupon card. For example, Cici's pizza has 4 coupons that each say " Free buffet w/ purchase of a buffet and 2 drinks" ; sport clips has 4 that each say "$5 off a haircut", etc. There are a total of 48 individual coupons from different businesses which usually adds up to between $200-250 in savings. Adrenaline does all of this on their own, no leg work up until this point. Once the coupon card is finished and printed, then our players will have 2 weeks to sell at least 20 cards. Each card costs $20, Adrenaline will keep a percentage of each card sold up until a certain agreed dollar amount. I think we actually sold $62,000 worth of cards and we kept $50,000.
