Anyone take their team picture in the evening or in the dark?
I'm not talking about after a championship game (which is cool by the way)...I'm talking...your regular team picture.

Could be really cool but it adds the logistical hassle of all that lighting.

team photo while playing in JUCO was taken at 5:00 in the evening, with the setting sun directly over the cameraman's shoulder. Light was still "mid-day bright," not that soft dusk color we all love. Most people had their eyes closed in the photo, the rest looked mid-vinegar strokes.
Fairly indicative of the program. We were 3-17 my 2 years.
At my school now, team photo is done during camp, on the same day the school holds various orientation times in the evening, and we lose a bunch of the team anyways. Meet, take pics, practice, parent meeting, orientations...wasted day, but we get all of our extra crap done at one time.

I always want to, though never do, take our regular team picture at the end of the season. I hate seeing those couple kids who are front and center in the picture but don't make it through the season. We have also had the opposite of that recently....a few kids who were on frosh/JV early but came up and made an impact late in the year - practice and/or game impact.
