I'm sure many of you have already stumbled upon Coach Grabowski's new podcast, but those of you that haven't, I highly recommend you check it out. I just discovered it a couple days ago. Listened to two episodes so far (the Mark Speckman interview and the Jeff Janssen interview) and they were both excellent! Somehow, he's posting a new episode every day. coachandcoordinator.podbean.com/

@aceback76 now I know why you use CAPS so much in your posts, haha.
I exchanged a few e-mails with your father back when I was just breaking in to coaching. He was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable.

I have a silly question: When do you usually listen to the podcasts?.I can't imagine myself just sitting in a chair listening to it put it on your iPhone and plug it into your car speaker?

jgordon1 I listen to it in my car. Either plug my phone into car speakers with an aux cord or Bluetooth if your vehicle has it. I can usually get through a full episode in a couple rides to & from work. Automobile university.

He was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Dad used a lot of caps in stuff he put in his playbook (& inbox files). He did that to emphasize certain points. Often he (& me) simply "cut & pasted" some of that stuff on here to prevent too much re-typing. He can't type (& his Secretary retired)!

I've been loving this podcast! I do a little bit of traveling back and forth between my apartment and my parents' home (90 minutes or so) over the holidays and it's good listening on that drive. I also like to put the tv on mute while I'm playing XBOX and listen then as well. In fact I just listened to his episode with Nick Restifo on the ride today which might be my favorite one so far.

I've found it's easiest to use a podcast app. I use Stitcher for my android phone.

jgordon1 do you have an iphone? If yes, click on the "podcasts" app icon Then select "search" from the menu bar. Then search for the podcast (type coachandcoordinator in the search bar). Next, select the podcast then click on the the download icon beside the episodes you want to download.

I have a silly question: When do you usually listen to the podcasts?.I can't imagine myself just sitting in a chair listening to it put it on your iPhone and plug it into your car speaker? I had about 7 hours of drive time this weekend so I listened to about 12 different Joe Daniels podcast episodes. Felt like a good way to be somewhat productive with time that would have otherwise been lost.

Download the podcasts on the podcast app. I like to listen to them when doing chores/yard work/that kind of thing.

Also I will second that Keith does a great job. I really enjoyed the one with Coach Coverdale, though all are good.

Keith and Joe Daniel podcasts I've stumbled upon just in last month or so, I enjoy them on commutes as well as at the gym can usually get in one or two a day depending on my workout, I'll get up at 4:00 head to gym with it playing then put in ear buds finish one episode in gym and then listen to another episode on way home and then to school after I shower and eat. Really have come to love that over repetitive top 40 music both in gym and on the road

I just saw this and looked at the speakers. It looks awesome! As indicated above, great for long commutes to pass the time.

In addition to long commutes, I have found it beneficial in the early morning with breakfast and a cup of coffee before the family wakes up or late at night trying to unwind or getting that little extra missed from day before bed.

Relaunch of podcast under USA Football brand is Tuesday. This week is Brian Kight from Focus 3, Ben Davis HS HC Mike Kirschner, St. Edward HS HC Tom Lombardo, and Shiloh Christian HC Jeff Conaway, and retired coach Tony DeMeo.
The following week is Central Washington Univ. HC Ian Shoemaker, St Cloud St OC Doug Patterson, ASA Community College HC Joe Osovet (RPO guru), No Huddle No Mercy Offense Shawn Liottw, and Olentangy HS HC Mark Solis.
These are excellent interviews that will be accompanied by show notes as well as several articles developed off of each podcast.
I am very excited and proud to be bringing these to the coaching community. The podcast will be released one a day Mondays through Fridays. Please respond with question suggestions and guest suggestions. I am always looking to improve the show and with USA Football as my partner I am confident this will be excellent.
