Hi guys I am coaching an all star game this year was wondering what you guys have done practice schedule wise and how much offense and defense you guys installed for the game. Thanks for your help Coach, nobody will be able to answer that until they know how many practices you'll be allowed and what restrictions, if any, there will be on your offense and defense.

Ok I've done this a couple times and the things I learned were:
Everybody plays both ways. They don't give you enough (good) OL so get the DTs involved and improve your depth.
One formation, just makes life easier.
No indy skill development time, you're not here to make these kids better. Indy time is for install.
I ran rip/Liz as my only coverage, it was the easiest thing to install. Worked adjustments to every formation and that was it. Short yardage we just walked up the LBs into the gaps.
Play to have fun. Do wacky stuff. Try things. If you've got an idea for a play install it and run it ten times just to see.

Past experiences have taught me, less is more with all star practices...... three a days is too much and two a days should not be more than an hour and a half... lots of skeleton, 7 on 7, offense vs air, pursuit,.... games

Oh yeah, we installed in three two-hour practices.
