I'm looking forward to Nashville myself...
The biggest thing I enjoy about AFCA is talking with coaches from other states.

Sat down and listened to two veteran coaches talk wing T football, nobody in our league runs it so it was fascinating.

I'm staying at Guesthouse Inn & Suites, down the street from the Opryland. Anyone else booked that hotel? Our staff is always willing to talk.
We leave the opryland once the convention is wrapped up each day, its too cold for us FL people to be out in winter

I've been coaching 27 years and this is my first time going. I'm very nervous. LOL. If anyone wants to talk single wing, RPO's, program, or anything else, PM me and we will do it. Looking forward to It !

"I've been coaching 27 years and this is my first time going." I don't feel quite as bad as before. I've been coaching 45 years, and this is my first time going.

We wait in line to register was crazy....Tons of coaches to talk to, but as far as clinics.... would take glaziers over this any day of the week.

Yea, it didn't have the lineup or speaker density that it normally does. We've been going for years, and we all noticed that day 1. Hopefully it isn't a sign of the convention going downhill, and just a hiccup due to new leadership.

I don't think that is a bad thing but it has been the central theme the last three years. Not much x and o stuff. Professional development.

Yeah it was great for networking. Even the HC program development and things were not super. The best thing about it was there were so many college coaches there you could pick there brain with a sit down, or try to get some exposure for your kids that some maybe missing out on.

It is at Charlotte next year. I believe there is a page on their website that lists the next few, but it has been awhile since I looked.
