Just browsing the lineups. There seems to be the same 5-7 speakers speaking all over the country and they are also the same as has been around for a while.
I don't know about you guys but I look to hear some new voices when I go on the clinic circuit. Is it just me or is there a lot of the same.
Maybe I have been doing this for a while but I'm disappointed with the lineups around the Midwest. I even looked at LV and it's the same speakers.
Anyone else feeling same/different?

I stopped going a few years back for that reason, plus it seemed like the same topics over and over

To defend Glazier a little, I put my own strength clinics together. Its hard to get speakers sometimes. Plus once you advance in knowledge, it gets harder and harder to find something that really helps you out. There really is very little difference in what people do. As far as strength training goes now, Ive been around long enough and trained enough people to know what works and what doesn't. Im more interested in testing, motivation, and buy in than sets/reps/exercises.
But for a younger guy who is still trying to develop his philosophy, those more basic talks on how and why are more beneficial. I usually check out during those sessions and catch up with old friends. I remember last year at Glazier I went to a session by a successful FCS coach that talked about unbalanced spread. I fooled around with that a little the year before so I thought it might be good. Turns out everything he said was something I already did on my own. Its not because Im super smart. It just comes from more time experimenting. For a younger coach that stuff might have been ground breaking.

I think you can see it a bit more clearly if you look at it like this:
Assume that they hang their hats on the D1 college speakers, which I would say is true enough for our purposes here.
Take a list of all D1 schools
Filter out all those that are going to require a fly-in because that's very expensive and you can only do it for a couple of speakers and you'd like to have some NFL guys.
Filter out all the schools that host their own clinic (Michigan) and schools going to other clinics. You might be able to get a speaker from these schools but it's much harder.
Filter out all the poor speakers
Filter out those with poor reputations or small schools coming off bad seasons.
So what's left really?

Pretty sure championship systems has a deal with glazier so they speak about every weekend around the country.
Those guys never get old. They know what they're doing.

I actually really like Glazier. I am pimping the webinars just because there are so many great coaches here and a lot to learn from one another.

Do they invite the same faces back if they get good feedback from the coaches? I know they try to get those sitting in on the talk to fill out a rating card for the speaker. Are the high ratings enticing them to keep inviting the same people back?

No idea how it works but...
Seems like there is a group of professional clinic guys who are always speaking. They are the names on the clinic circuit. So I don't know if other guys are afraid to try and break into their ranks or if it's a good ol boys type thing. It's kind of like a kid specializing in one sport and being around the same coaches all the time, after awhile you drown their voices out. Need to hear some fresh voices and different takes on things. At least that's the way I am starting to feel about some clinics.

Since this is the case, let's help each other out by keeping others aware of the local clinics in our various areas. There are plenty of good speakers in every small pocket of our country that are turned off by the commitments of being a Glazier speaker. Post links to e-brochures or websites that list the speakers, dates, locations, lodging, etc. and then give as much feedback as we can. I would love to travel within a reasonable distance for a good clinic or speakers and start connecting with coaches elsewhere.

Coaches -
We appreciate the feedback and are always striving to put the best clinic possible together for our attendees. Comments, suggestions, and speaker recommendations are welcomed and encouraged.
