I searched for a thread on this but all of them were 5 years or older. We need to purchase new practice jerseys. We had Champro and they were fine but our kids really would like the loose sleeve. Why, I don't know since they love the tight sleeve for the game jersey but whatever. I don't wear them so whatever makes them feel better. A lot of the brands come with the tight sleeves. One I've found that doesn't is the A4. I know A4 is a cheap brand, and these jerseys are $10-14 a piece, which is a good deal. Anyone have any experience with them. Does anyone have any recommendations for a specific brand? Thanks.

our practice jerseys don't last long anyway, so the cheaper the better.

We bought some practice jerseys from Russell and some from a different company but I forgot which one it was. They've all held up for 2 years so far.

Looks like I'll give A4 a shot. $10 per jersey if they don't make it outside of this year well then it was a good try.

Update: only had the A4 jerseys out a couple times but the kids seem to like them. I got them out of the box when they arrived and thought holy crap, these look awful and cheap (which is partially what I expected since they were). But the kids never blinked and eye and thought they were cool. Once they are on the shoulder pads they actually look pretty good. We will see how they hold up now. Oh if you get them apparently they don't come with numbers on the back. Did not realize that would be the case. Doesn't really matter for practice purposes but if that's something you want make sure you get it. Best part is we only paid around $750 for the 75 jerseys. I've seen schools spend 2k on them.

Belichick and Noll never had numbers on practice jerseys (until now since the NFL added a rule) so players had to get to know each other beyond their number.

It's a fricking practice jersey. Who cares what it looks like, it just needs to be functional. For years now, I've just used hand me downs. Jerseys go from varsity to JV to practice. Same with pants. Practice jerseys and practice pants are one less expense.

It's not a loose-sleeved practice jersey, but if you are looking for a cap sleeved one with porthole mesh (perfect, IMO) I like the Rawlings Pro Cut Premium practice jersey (http://www.bsnsports.com/rawlings-pro-cut-premium-practice-jersey).
Might order these for our kids this summer. Helps that they come in a ton of colorways.
If you are branded with Nike, their lower-end one with open sleeves is $25 retail, so you should be able to get it from your dealer for $15-18 blank and I do like the fit and the kids like the Swoosh.

Yeah I definitely don't care how they look as long as they do their job. We do use old game pants for practice pants. Works out well and saves money.
