Hurricane Jaoquin is coming. Besides the obvious towels, kitty litter, buckets, etc... Anyone found any other tricks that work to keep balls dry and in good condition?

Cooler (igloo) with shammy towels.
We'll keep 6 balls dry throughout the game; ball guy has a shammy and a towel. We have 2 large shammys in the cooler with another large shammy to wrap the wet balls in.
Hasn't stopped them from getting heavy, but they will stay dry. Rotate as often as possible. Sham the ball and throw it in the cooler. Wring the sham towel and grab another.

We just got some. I guess the spray would be better than the paste?

If your baseball field guy has a bag of diamond dry I bet that would work better than kitty litter, anyone tried it??

Just so everyone knows-
Read my post above for details...
The sham's worked well. Checked 5 balls in and it rained on and off from pregame through the end. By end of the night we only had one ball that was noticeably water logged, and that was our kicking ball. The ref only changed the ball on deadball situations and we had to beg and plead (they were terrible...that's for another story) for them to do that.
Cooler + Shams did well in rain

We used the saddle soap before the game and kitty litter during the game. The balls (2) mostly held up. Although the balls appeared to be ruined by the end of the weekend, saddle soap before practice yesterday brought new life to them.
Here is a crazy question... how many game balls do y'all check in? We normally do 3. However, with constant rain the past two weeks (and a JV game that ruined one game ball and a decent ball) we did not introduce but one new ball last week for practice.
