It's not basketball season yet right? Or they must have been playing a game of Madden? Jeez those numbers are ridiculous

I'd fire myself...I was looking through our state scores last night there was 72-64 game. Didn't think that one would almost be doubled up!

A team in Illinois scored 95 last night. I think the losing team was in the 40s, but not 100% sure of the exact score.

Yup 11 man! Team that won rushed for over 1000 yards. Rb was 35 yds away from national HS record and qb on losing team set national passing record. As a soph. In his first ever varsity game. Insane.

That is beyond ridiculous, and frankly, makes a travesty of the game.

I quite honestly cannot even understand how a 70-64 game happens or what it would look like. If Hoover's offense played De La Salle JV defense and De La Salle offense played against Hoover's JV defense, I don't think you would have a 70-64 score. There just isn't enough TIME in the game for all that.

These scores don't make any sense to me. We have a pretty solid offense and played one of the better offenses in our area yesterday. The final score......13-10. Each team amassed over 300 yards total offense and one turnover each. Both teams defenses were solid inside the red zone!!

Did either one of the DCs get fired?
Like seriously, what did they even do during practice the past week?

I don't understand how some of those kids didn't make those tackles. It looked like a Buffalo Wild Wings commercial.

We once had a 58-55 game and one team was a double tight double wing team. Granted one of their wings backs is starting at Michigan St now. Each team had a turnover and 1 punt. It was nuts. We did practice defense that week. I was there, they were just really good.

The winning team had 49 points more. That is SEVEN more touchdowns. SEVEN!! INSANE and a travesty in my opinion.

And I thought a team that runs the Wing-t vs a team that runs the sniffer in a shoot out was bad...63-58...

I've been involved in three "shootouts" in my coaching career. A 45-30 win, a 46-36 win, and one a 42-39 loss. Those don't even compare to these other games.

I really didn't think scores could get as high as we did, but I've slowly learned to not be shocked as we always find ways to top them.
