What do you guys think of the LSU Big Cat Drill? Others run something similar. Competitive, physical, more controlled. Guys that play with their hand down have it down, those that typically play in a 2-point do the drill that way(5:00 in the video).

The drill is pointless if you have guys using bad technique. My practice always goes tackling circuit 1st, then a rabbit drill for keeping the ball on the inside shoulder. We did oklahoma last year and nothing changed, we weren't tougher or hit harder. The kids would dip their head and shoulder or what ever.
This year, with just teaching technique and pursuit over and over again, getting max reps, our overall defense is way better with some big hits.
