Any one on here have any experience raising money to fund a new athletic complex. We are a large school, looking into breaking ground on a new complex. We are currently in discussion on how to raise the money.

Store cards but do it yourself, most card fundraising will take 40-50%, where you can have cards made for 68 cents. Alumni games have raise $5,000, and we were a small school. Store cards have made us 4-5,000 dollars. We held weight a thons, Thta is a killer though. I have two buddy's that have auctions, and they do well at.

We raised money for new equipment just by contacting Alumni. It was sort of a spur of the moment fundraiser but it still netted 10K.

We are in the same boat trying to raise cash as an entire athletic staff at a small school for an updated weight room. Would also like to hear any suggestions regarding fundraisers or best places to go through in terms of updating weight room.
