Sweep, My point is a proven HC with a track record of success of building and maintaining success isn't going to take that job because the perimeters you then set forth usually don't follow.
Most HCs that have that resume usually work up the ladder to the schools that already have those things in place. Seldom do they take the 'step down' to rebuild a program unless they have those cards up their sleeves.
Case in point, early in my career I got my boots wet in program that was in the tank; they were desperate for coaches. The second year they hired a coach with these credentials; he had turned around several programs before BUT he took the job to be close to his oldest who was playing college volleyball. He never unpacked his moving boxes and was gone by Christmas.
