What's the most players you guys have ever had on a team or in a program? For us its about 100 in a school of 1700. That number is JV and Varsity

From 2005-2009 I was head coach of a program at school of 1700 or so.
We usually had 40+ on Varsity, 25-30 JVs (Sophomores), 50+ on Freshmen (around 120 total).
Had one class that dropped those numbers down at each level going through.
My last year, in spite of district instituting Pay-to-Play, we had 147 kids draw equipment (finished year with 138).

Think we had 60 one year at my last school, smallest class in our state, out of 170 boys 9-11 (that's how they do the enrollment in our state). Before that was at school in the biggest class and I think we hit 80 on varsity one year with prob 30 on JV and Frosh team each.
On a side note saw yesterday that Hoover in AL had like 260+ kids in their program. That's just insane. Imagine all the hangers on through the levels with that many kids. I would rather have a smaller team than have all that dead weight in the program.

2009 School of about 1800
45 on Varsity 25 on JV 110 on Frosh
We ran a 10 personnel offensive scheme, I talked to the frosh WR coach he said he went 10+ deep on his positional depth chart. Mind you not 10+ receivers but 10+ receiver groups, so over 40 receivers.
I'm at a small private school now, but there are lots of schools around us with student bodies far exceeding 3500; I know some coaches around here who have over 200 players in their whole program
