We have a really good upcoming Jr, he has camped (by request) with a few D1 programs. He did really well and been invited to come to campus to see a game in the fall by a few schools. I realize that they aren't allowed to contact him until September. When do you guys expect it to pick up or possible offers coming? Thanks for the info.

Most of the offers for major recruits come between the end of the junior season and start of the senior one. As you go down the levels it shifts later. There are late bloomers who are exceptions, and there are schools that offer super early to try to get in first, but that's the bulk of it. Big schools massively over-offer, the Top 25 from last year have an average of something like 100 offers out to the 2015 class right now.

Unless your kid is great....colleges are going to want to see early junior film/highlights..how do you know he did "really well "

September 1st you will find out a bunch more as they can go back and forth with contact then.
However, if they "really" liked him at camp, they likely would of asked him to call the coach at a set time each week (there are no restrictions on when a kid can call a coach).
When you get to the fall, I would only have him go on visits if there are multiple emails back and forth between him and the coach. I would also tell him to ask the coach if there is a good time for the kid to call him. If the coach is willing to take the call, then head on up there as they are likely interested.

I was at the camp, I saw how well he did. The coaches have asked him to call them so I assume he does. The D coordinator for one school came to me and told me he was the best db there. He's a qualified kid now, 2.9 and 19act. He's not really and outgoing kid so I wondered if that might be holding him back. I have to tell him to call the coaches. The kid is like "I don't know what to say". I guess we'll see come September.

He's really good. I don't think it's unreasonable for him to go D1.
