Looking for ideas on Spring Training practice schedule from smaller schools. We have about 35 players 8-11, next years 9-12. We have to go 3 days in helmets, 2 in shells before full contact can start. What are you guys doing?

Install, circuits, and competition.
That is going to be our main focus. We have to go through exactly the same phase as you do and we have less players.
We are really focusing on getting as much as we can into circuits. The common thing is the turnover/ball security circuit but we will be doing tackling, blocking, routes, ball skills, special teams. Pretty much every skill we need to be good at will be in a circuit. We want to go hard and get out of there.

Sounds like a great opportunity to teach everyone the Heads Up Tackling module before you get started in full pads. I think we all should be doing that with every team, every year...
