A school in our district has a head stone for a former player near the end zone. He was killed in a car accident after they won their district title last year. Before every home game the team says a prayer and touches the stone before they head out to the field...very inspiring, was very emotional for several members of the team this year... I read about something like this in the BFS magazine--do you know if this is the same kid/school? Sorry--don't remember the name of the school but a pretty cool story.

We use a shillelagh. There's an old Irish code of law for the shillelagh fighting called The Shillelagh Laws and tie them in with the good fight, etc.
Use an old folk song called "the same old shillelagh" in other words, we're still whipping your butt the same way as always.

Wheelbarrow - we use the same thing - but the story is about "The Great Zumbrati" over Niagra Falls! Gotta love the regions of the USA!
