Once your season is over how soon do you start thinking about the next season? My season has now been over for about 3 1/2 weeks and I am starting to think about next season now!!

I started thinking about next season about two to three minutes after the clock said 0:00 in our last game. I'd imagine most guys who are so obsessed that they go on a football message board in their spare time would feel the same way.

It did help that my sons team made to the playoff and I ended up helping coach his team and they won the championship. So I guess I made it and week and 1/2 officially and now I am starting to plan for next season. Plus I am on here every day

Well said, haha...I lasted until the next day (only because I still graded us on our last game that evening).

I have to an degree. I coach my daughters softball teams in the spring so that's my first priority of right now (shes 11). Way less competitive and draining than football. I actually like getting to relax- this is my 2nd year doing it and I love it..way less hands off. I will be in the age level above my son next year who is returning to play pee wee level one more yr before he moves up to intermediate. I don't know who will be on my team next year so im not making any assumptions as our draft is very well done and is blind (random minus the A team). I will be keeping my DC- the OC will coach the peewee team. We will run more 5-2 and still keep the WT6 Base. Still debating about what I will run next year offensively. I was so impressed by the Cisar SW Im leaning to keeping it and adding more spread stuff and not going traditional offense until senior level (7/8/9)- I didn't decide until 2 weeks before the season what I would run. I have 2 playbooks for each level- I tweak it annualy and take things out. One is a CSW one is a multiple PWR I (5 formations). I add and take things out that didn't work. I usually do that in January. It is on my mind but not really- I have a lot of other things to do. But I do think about it when I have time as it is my passion.

The day after the season ended, I wrote up the depth charts for the returning kids as well as for the teams that aged up. Never ends
