Soccer coach's kid who is in the development program for the junior national team wanted to come try kicking for us this year. First time he's ever tried to kick yesterday and he was putting kickoffs on the 10 consistently and some into the end zone. When he finds his routine and gets consistent should be a lot of touchbacks. Didn't miss PAT/FG til we got to 40 yds, and was about 50% on those, with a 2 step approach, still needs to find his routine on that. Punts he kind of just muscled about 30 yds, definitely needs the most work and from my limited knowledge it's probably in the drop.
I've been fortunate enough to have one other strong kicker in my time coaching and it's such a weapon. I'm pumped.

Quality kickers are a prize. Not to mention a game changer.

I have a kid (also soccer player) who is 9, he is punting 30+ consistently. He is shaky at FG though, his max so far is a 17 yard. Pretty impressive for 9 though!
