Here is a pic of the new gopher stadium that was released today. The stadium will be 39.9 million more than projected, this may have something to do with the timing of why Mason was canned. Fund raising needed to step up with the 39.9 million increase for the cost of the stadium. I hope this will help increase revenue for the gopher football program, now that they will get all the $$$ for parking, private sweets, box seats, club seats, food and beverages and all advertising.

its across the street from Williams and Mariuci Arena. All the grain bins that were North of the Williams arena are gone and most of the parking will be over their and to the east of the stadium.

I was up for the NDSU game and it was silent in there. guess almost getting beat by a 1AA school could silence any 1A crowd.

what most people do not realize about gopher football is we lost at least 2 generations of fans with the poor football played at the U of M in the 1970's, 80's and 90's. You go to a game and 2/3 crowd is a AARP card carrier. They don't cheer, they sit there and watch. But they also have the $$$.

in truth I have always felt bad for the minnesota folk. going to the metro dome sucked. nothing line camp randall on a nice fall afternoon where 85,000 badger fans going nuts to jump around or the big house or the shoe. heck even northwestern with their tinny little stadium(48,000) has more fun.

Airman,
I have been to Camp Randall 2x, Kinneck 2x, The Big House 2x, Northwestern 1x and Purdue 1x and they are all awesome. You are right, most gopher fans have no clue what out door big 10 football is like. They go to the dome and sit in the 76 deg bubble and sit on their hands.
