Im just a 19 yr. old college kid trying to get a head start on my playbook for when i get a HC job want to run the Urban Meyer Spread type O mixed with Tom Osborne I and option O info would definately help a brotha out

The first thing that comes to mind to me here, is why both? Simple is good at times. What did you run in hs again?

multiple I, some spread, and 2 TE sets cuz we had 2 pretty good TE's, always have been big fan of option, but really like spreading it out using short pass game with some draws and option reads out of the gun and like quick screens out of gun

Ok, are you planning for the under center stuff to be the base offense to be taught at the lower levels, and then teach the gun stuff at the hs ? or the other way around?
If you like the spread gun stuff, then see where that takes you as you learn about it first, then spread out into other areas to learn. The terminology for formations in a lot of the gun stuff is quite simple in my mind compared to other systems, so that would be a good place to start

i'll do that and with me being an O lineman i got a lot of reading to do on WR jobs and route running and I form on lower levels Gun HS level is my plan
