Hey guys,
I am looking for a stat. I heard a long time ago and wanna use it in the next couple of days, maybe you can help. The quote as I remember it is:
On any given play, a successful HS football team will have 2-3 players doing exactly what they are supposed to do. On a successful college squad that number goes up to 3-4 and in the NFL, a successful team has 5-6 players doing their jobs on any given play.
Anyone heard that before and if so, are my numbers correct? Let me know quickly! I gotta move on this and get my stuff done and ready within the next day or so. Thanks a bunch, have a great summer.
Jeff

I'd say, add 3-4 players to each category on the way up
so
hs would be 6 college would be 8 nfl would be 10
but that is just opinion, never heard a study on it, i know this, if we only have 2-3 kids doing what they are supposed to do, we are getting killed, and some other kid that knows what to do will be out on the field shortly
