I will not and will never add a player to my Facebook page until they graduate.
First off all I don't have the time to "spy" on the kids and what they are up to. I to have been told if I friend any player, I'm now responsible in reporting "policy conduct" issues that may arise. We all want the kids to behave the best they can, but I'm not about to play God and put myself into a mess I'd much rather not be in if I can help it.
I've been part of staff that had a Facebook page for the team, but that is different. We didn't "spy" on the kids and the only thing we dealt with the players on Facebook was through that page with football related material for them and their parents.
If I were coaching college ball, it would probably be different. By that point, those "kids" are considered adults and should be treated as such.
