I think you have a narrow perspective on everyones situation. what I mean is that every job is not the same. The resources are not the same and the kids are not the same. while not giving an excuse for being lazy sometimes the emphasis changes based on the environment. In coaching the end justifies the mean. so most of the time if success is their then it is right.Also we assume that our ability to communicate validates our knowledge about a subject, and culturally some black coaches don't have certain communication skills the perception is that they don't know football. Not true. I fancy myself as very good at what I do and I am a Black coach, I would not have the best communication skills but I'm not bad either. Would that put me behind someone because he does have those skills. we have to think about how we filter information. Do we have the right perspective or do you know what you are listening or looking for in the information?
