I'm going to make a expert village video on home based thermonuclear power generation. Should be good.
"You takes da pluto knee umm and puts it here in dis tube. Then you take a hammer, and hit it really hard which splits da pluto knee umm and that's called nukular fiction. It puts out a lot of heat so wear gloves when you do it. Wear some wrap around sunglasses too cuz it get's real bright and the shades will help protect your eyes too. With the heat off of the nukular fiction reakshun, you should be able to heat up your house so you dont have to run the furnace no more. You could probably doo other stuff with the heat like cook and stuff but we'll go over that in our next video."

I don't think I have laughed this hard in a while. This could be a Saturday Night Live skit. I couldn't explain it to my staff because I would start laughing so hard that I could not get it out.

I think there is a huge difference in not having the knowledge to fully explain something correctly, and being ignorant enough to completely explain it the WRONG way.

Look.....you can either catch the ball with your HANDS or wif your BODY....just make sure you switch it up in the game.
If you are teaching more than that, you just making the game too hard an complicated an stuff.
-- airraider makes a good point, though, that this would serve as a refresher that our players, while they nod agreeingly, may not fully understand the verbiage or concepts we think we are delivering. The guy in this video, however, was clearly raised on FOX pregame.

Well...I don't see many people here going and offering their assistance. Generally the coaches make their videos for profit...correct? I think that most coaches here would have no problem making a free video for most basic fundamental aspects of the game. I don't expect anyone to give away any systems aka Tony Franklin or even Kurt Bryan and his A11, but how to play wide receiver? Surely at least 99% of this board could do a better job than what disaster that film was. 99%?... I think you may be selling 1% of this board short.

There has to be one or two tools on this board somewhere........

As retarded as this may seem viewing, it wouldn't surprise me if there aren't 40 year old versions of this guy on staffs around the country. I'm just saying, that sometimes you just don't know what you think you " KNOW". You may THINK you are coaching a particular nuance or skill, and while you may have enough (misguided) knowledge to give you confidence, you don't have any meaningful, applicable data to transfer to the athletes. Now, not understanding basic terms or nomenclature might be a good indication that you are clueless, there are other factors that can give way to ignorance. PS - anyone know if this guy has any camps I can send some kids to? I for sure have coached with guys in the past that know as much or as little as this guy and to make it worse they thought they were some guru.

I'm actually really glad you posted the one about the qb roll out. I never knew that if the play broke up I would need to know where to go with the ball. It is a very comprehensive breakdown of rolling out, off balance WITH the football. My only question is what do I do when my sweet jump pass I learned at the end doesn't get me a football scholarship and instead I have to work for expert village?

Great coaching points....
As a QB you need to plant... As a ride receiver you need to have a good plant.... As a running back you need to learn how to plant.... As a tight end you need a good plant in your stance.... As a offensive lineman you need to plant....
